im abit worried about Superman after seeing this on dvd

(blind buy like Vol 2)

i didnt love Vol 1 but appriciated it was a well made Sci Fi comedy epic in the style of PG13 Tarantino and just a great concept for a movie (80s kid gets alien aducted into a star wars type universe and grows up to be a Han Solo wannabe)

Vol 2 i didnt see at cinema but the fact it had Kurt Russell coming to play in MCU was cool and overall it was kind of fun (esp the Knight Rider/Hoff cameo), but like Vol1 abit meh (id say Vol2 is best of the series purely for Kurt Russell)

Infinity War/Endgame (which was almost like Vol 3 of Guardians) is obviously what it is, an amazing scifi/fantasy comic book epic

but this Vol 3 , its like abit of a lame bookend to the GOTG series.. its like it dialed up the most cringe/annoying stuff from Vol1/2 up to 11 and Gunn and cast be like 'here is this good enough? fine we can go now, f**k this marvel s**t!' - remember Gunn got publically fired/humiliated by Disney/Marvel but it actually benefited him as then DC got him to direct Suicide Squad 2, which led him to the Feige position at DC and directing Superman (im sure Cavill & Co are thrilled with how that all turned out! as had Gunn not been fired from MCU its possible DC/WBros wouldve stuck with the DCEU)..

anyway i just hope he dosnt go Vol3 on Superman

I LOVE ALL THREE GOTG FLICKS...A SPECTACULAR TRILOGY THAT IS FUN AND ENTERTAINING FROM BEGINNING TO END.

I can't see James Gunn going full Gunn (ala The Suicide Squad) for Superman. I'm sure he'll try deliver a crowd-pleaser that is a bit more vanilla and wholesome.

Yeah he bound to rein himself in abit (like Tarantino would've had to had he directed Bond and Star Trek)
