Really only shells of the comics characters. Maybe if Gunn brought in Warlock in Volume 2 he might have done something better with him. And what is with Marvel always wanting to show the actors faces? The High Evolutionary wears full body armor in the comics you have no idea what his face looks like.

I actually liked the twist on the mask in the movie. In the comics, he had armor that looks like his face. Here, he basically wears a mask that looks like his face as well but for completely different reasons.
The High Evolutionary and more then half the charcters in the MCU were created in the Fantastic Four.
shareMighty Thor #134 (Nov. 1966) is how I remember his introduction along with the Knights of Wundagore, AKA The New Men. But there is no disputing that so much of the MCU has been retconned from the Fantastic Four to the point of making the First Family of Marvel superfluous. π€π
