...fatter or older for a role as often as Amy Adams?

She can be a 5, 7 or 9 depending on the film. I bet someone who is not familiar with her career would have an impossible task to put her movie appearances in order.

It's pretty common for actresses that want to win an Oscar. Almost like a joke by now. Charlize Theron wasn't the first one but it's the most known example.
