At a certain point he decided to risk the entire mission to save her life because...what? There was no hint of something happening between them. What was the point of that?
Just saving the world. Maybe you should read the plot on wikipedia!

There are plenty of inconsistencies in this movie but this bothered me for some reason. If he fell on love with her, fine. Share that with the audience. This was he just seems unprofessional.
Are you saying he can alter the timeline after it was proven that everything just went the way it went?
