The Ever-Changing Aspect Ratio
I get how, in some movies, like "Star Wars: The Force Awakens" how you have certain large-scale sequences where you go full-screen IMAX. But, in "Tenet," just like in "Dunkirk," you have the ever-changing aspect ratio, from 1.78 : 1 for action sequences and establishing shots, to 2.20 : 1 for dialogue sequences.
It was an odd mess in "Dunkirk," and it's as odd a mess here.
I keep wanting Nolan to choose a freaking aspect ratio and stay with it! Sheesh.
