Fans don't count. The Rise of Skywalker was an 8.6 audience rating and it was the worst POS I have seen in 10 years.

so the rating mean nothing?

reply

Not really. I generally don't go with the masses as far as whether a movie is good or not. Many people consider ratings and box office to be a gauge as to how good a movie is. It is funny how people consider ratings so important. I say, see the movie and then make up your mind. This movie is rated already lower on RT as far as critics are concerned. So that may be a good sign or not. You never know.

Aha, so instead of a rating sites should just have "what modica thinks" and leave it at that?

reply

No. I just said I don't care about the ratings of the masses. I don't give a shit what anyone else thinks but me. I pay for the movie, it's my time and I am the one that matters. It's all about me, myself and I. I only care about how I like or don't like a movie.

Did you like E.T.?

Why is my opinion important to you? If you liked it, then isn't that enough?
