Release online already. Or Nolan will be the guy that killed for profit. They listened! August in Europe!

How hard is it, people? Stream the sucker so we can watch it.
This just in:
Seems like the EU and Asia get it first, because their market is more attractive.

Ofc nobody will go and see it in cinemas, death traps as they are, but who cares. There'll be a release and that's good! Can't wait to spoil the US audience.

And lose hundreds of millions of dollars? Good thing randos on the internet don't run media companies or there'd be none left.

reply

Somebody will find it laying around in a studio and send it out anyway.

reply

? Just sell it to Apple tv, Netflix, Hulu, Disney+ and what have you at 75 million a pop, make 100 million and call it a day. Why go for a billion when it will certainly kill people?

reply

If you're so worried about the movie "killing people", you'll be happy that the movie has been delayed and won't be released this summer. 😁

reply

That's old news but thanks for the effort. They should release online. There is nothing to see currently.

reply

Ah, I see. So you weren't really interested in the movie "killing people". You just wanted to see it online. πŸ˜„

reply

Bringing people to the theaters is currently spreading Covid-19 (therefore killing people) so yeah, I want to see it online. I am not interested in them killing people indeed.

reply

What's another million dead when it's already killed a billion? The China plague will wipe us out eventually.

reply

If it's released online everyone will pirate it. Also, the budget is $200 million. This isn't exactly some cheap investment by WB. A direct-to-video flick with a low budget may be successful on digital VOD, but not an expensive blockbuster like this.

reply

Maybe Nolan could release it digitally but make it so it can only be watched on a big-screen TV.

reply

How the fuck would you achieve that.

reply

Maybe have it released only in 8K so only those with 8K TVs can watch it.

reply

It would be pirated immediately and available in every resolution you can imagine.

reply

That's a chance they'll have to take.

reply

Says who?

reply

Anyone who wants the movie to stream about now.

reply

I rather see it in theater. Streaming just ruins the experience for this interesting movie. It might be the future though since I see a couple of shows that were suppose to show in theaters on Netflix/Apple/Hulu/Amazon Prime or other. Think it has more to do with piracy for the first few months of a new show which is loss profit. Besides, most movies have been postponed until November, including Tenet, Black Widow, etc.

Even if you even believe the coronavirus hoax, Covid has a 99.8% survival rate. Grow a pair wussy.

reply

Just keep distance and wash your hands often, ok? No need to get sick or make others sick. Enjoy TeneT in September.

reply

I agree this is the biggest scam in the history

reply

China release Sept.4th

reply

Its been announced that the UK release in cinemas is 26 August, but no cinemas are actually selling tickets yet.

No info yet about streaming date in UK.

reply

It takes awhile to print tickets. They won't rush a printer with spending extra money. They will put the movie out in places they can with no posters and stuff. Just hope to get the money they can with movie.

reply

Not sure how it works where you are, but tickets are ordered online in advance and are printed when you collect them on the day of the screening. Unless of course you just go to the cinema on the day and buy them just before, but then you run the risk of a sold out venue and may also have to queue.
