Project U.F.O.

I did not see this series when it originally aired, but I stumbled on it on YouTube as few years ago. This new "Project Blue Book" series seems to be doing just what Jack Webb tried to do back in the late '70s. Of course, special effects and production values are going to be way superior. And perhaps, this time they will stick to the actual facts of the cases more than they did before. Well, we can hope anyway.

From the main imdb page:

Storyline
In the style of Jack Webb (Executive Producer), stories were taken from the USAF's "Project Bluebook" files and dramatized. The producer of the program, Col. William T. Coleman, USAF (Ret.) was the former head of "Project Bluebook".

Trivia
Very loosely based on actual case files from the US Air Force's Project Blue Book. Extreme literary license was taken with the stories, leaving them barely recognizeable even to those very familiar with the actual case files.
