Solid second season

A pretty solid second season, they went with a quite natural and realistic way the zombies exist and they left quite a cliffhanger for the upcoming season.

Really looking forward to it. I just feel they closed all the politics perhaps too soon? I was hoping for more plots and treasons between the clan and the heir. However, we will see what they have in mind with the child emperor and the other fronts they left open and opened in the last episode.

Are you guys following the show? I hope people notice it and they get more and more audience so they can invest more in the show. It has a lot of potential, I see it as a game of thrones in medieval Korea but without dragons nor magic (so far).

I'm rewatching the 1st season right now, to watch the 12 episodes in a row.

I'm not sure it will continue. This series adapts a Korean comic called 'The Kingdom of the Goods', or better said 'self-adapt', since Kim Eunhee, the author of the comic, wrote the script for the series too.

But that's it. The two seasons adapted the full comic, there's no more source material.

let me know when you finish the 2nd because they've set it up as it-s going to be followed by more seasons.

Absolutely. The young Queen could have been Cersei on steroids, new political players could have been introduced, loyalties tested. The same "if the throne can't be mine" bloody conclusion should have happened in the finale of season 3.

I've read that a third series is in the works, to start production once the Covid issues wane. Believe it said possibly the end of 2021.

Also agree about the quick ending. Kinda like a classic episode of Star Trek, where all the plot lines quickly conclude in the final few minutes.
