Patrick Melrose premiered on Saturday.
I saw the trailer and I'm so excited . I got a gut feeling that Cumberbatch is going to deliver an Oscar worthy performance.
Anyone seen the first of five parts ?comments or a review would be appreciated.
I haven't seen all five episodes but I saw the first one and I thought it was extraordinary. Benedict Cumberbatch was perfectly cast for the title role. I can't wait to see the rest. What did you think of it?
At one stage I actually mentally forgot that I was watching Cumberbatch acting out a role ..it was like literally watching the real Patrick .
Sebastian Maltz , the young actor that plays Patrick as a child , is amazing too ...he didn't utter a word but his face and eyes "spoke" clearly about his torment .
I'm looking forward to seeing part two ..Patrick's childhood in their house in France , I believe.
I'm very surprised that this board still has only two posters.
I am blown away by this show. EVERYONE is just top notch. The boy actor was incredible in Episode 2. Hugo Weaving is a monster. The Scenery, sets and costumes are just gorgeous.
I wasn’t a fan of Benedict Cumberbatch at all going into this— in fact he annoyed me incredibly— but after watching the series I am now a fan, and I must admit that he has a tremendous amount of skill.
I just saw the final episode, and it, like the rest of the series, was fantastic! This show is definitely headed for Bafta and Emmy Awards, especially for Benedict Cumberbatch.
