I can't believe they cancelled the series!
After that tour-de-force performance from Lizzy Caplan I was really hoping for more π:

The first season was a mess. The second was more coherent but it was always going to be a one-off.

And why can't they continue the anthology? It's not like any of their stories are even dependent on things like kid actors growing up, adult actors aging unrealistically, etc.
My point was, I thought the series was popular enough not to be shut down, and being an anthology they are perfectly positioned to wait out the pandemic anyway.
Expensive shows like these rely on international licensing since Hulu is only available in the USA. I don't think it was a worldwide hit.
