A show where the main characters are the worst

Nick and Andrew are the most unlikable pathetic people in the world. It wasn't always this way. When Big Mouth began, this duo was far from perfect, but they were held up as an example of real kids with issues who, for the most part, meant well. Eventually, they became so petty and ornery, like this caricature of old men trapped in boy bodies that strive exclusively for shock value yucks.

Almost everybody else in the show, I like. The side characters are rich and varied. I'm always disappointed when we cut away from Matthew or Jenni or Coach or Missy, back to the boys. It's like a muted trumpet plays wah wah wah wahhh.

Also, there's usually like 4 unnecessary and crappy songs per season. Some of the songs are great, but most are not. Only be a musical if you can be a good musical.
