The acting in that opening scene was so abysmal that I couldn’t continue. That almost never happens for me.

shareIt’s always so absurd when people ask that question about anything. Whether I could or couldn’t is irrelevant, but to walk through life with zero opinions is inhuman. Should you never comment on the design of a car despite the fact that you could never hope to design and build one yourself? Should you never comment on the actions of a president despite the fact that you could never be elected yourself? Do you have to like every meal you have in every restaurant because you’re not a professional chef? Consequently, do you have to like every single performance in every single movie because you’re not an actor? Your logic simply doesn’t hold up.

The one comparison I like to use here is this:
If a doctor kills a family member of yours because of a mistake they made, you sure won't be happy. I'm sure you'll be mad at the doctor. What will you think when I scoff and ask if you think you could do any better, though?
In regards to acting, I would say, “Yes. I can do better.”
shareThis movie is awesome. I can't remember any really bad acting at the start. Been a bit since I watched it though. You should probably give it another go.
