The Black guy that got the gold was a bank robber. He participated in an armed robbery that got a at least one woman killed. Yet at the end of the movie he wins in happy ending for him. This kind of a movie would not be acceptable several decades ago when the morals of our society weren't yet corrupted. I guess you could say that it became tiresome to have all movies where good guys win at the end especially since that's not real life.

I can understand that.
What I find more strange is the constant glorification of hit men , to the extent that "Hit man" is an accepted "profession" in the movies , albeit not a legal one.
But these murderers for hire are a lot more reprehensible than bank robbers who claim to be doing a "victimless crime" (your money is insured!)
Yeah but any armed robbery can cause innocent people to get hurt or die. In this movie it did.

I don’t think this movie glorifies anyone. These were some of the most villainous and evil bank robbers I’ve ever seen in a film.
That scene where Jennifer Carpenter’s character meets her fate was heartbreaking and brutal.
I don’t see any glorifying there. You want those assholes to die as soon as that happens if you have any kind of heart.
I get that one of the bank robbers ended up with the gold, but I really don’t think it glorifies anything. In the end, it’s a bunch of bad people, and then some people at the end of their rope in life making really bad decisions.
I agree, and it should be noted, the guy who ends up with the gold makes numerous statements throughout the film about not wanting to hurt anyone and is openly disgusted by all of the dehumanizing and murderous acts carried out by the psychopaths.
