Martin Riggs & Sonny Crockett
So Sonny ended up heading the dept as Riggs stayed a beat cop and no promotion for 27 years (around the time if Lethal Weapon 3).. and the framed newspaper looks to be around that time
how cool was the Don and Mel scene though - stuff like that is pretty awesome for action fans who grew up in the 80s watching Lethal Weapon and Miami Vice. back then it'd just unthinkable you'd one day see Mel and Don onscreen together.. (but then so was seeing the likes of Arnie and Sly onscreen together, or JCVD facing off against Stallone, or Riggs vs Rambo, or DeNiro in a film with Steven Seagal .. crazy stuff but its all been done)
