It didn't seem to line up with the TV show
I thought some of the character dynamics in "Serenity" didn't quite follow up on the way that "Firefly" ended. What do you think?

Joss Whedon's Serenity isn't an obscure film. There have been cases where a newer movie uses the same title as a little known older one. The Gift comes to mind.
Movies often have the same title as another or other films ..a little more often than they should.
