Is anyone else, aside from myself, trying to figure out who set up Echo (that is the right one, correct?). Cause I'm leaning toward something with American ties and some dirty business, but maybe it's because I'm not too kean on Jason's new lady friend.

shareDefinitely something dodgy going on with the private security company they've introduced regarding mining and precious metals. Seems a bit of a hamfisted way of it all kicking off re. the hand drill and whatever element got on it. A bit odd for a SEAL to be packing a hand drill on a mission. Then again, I'm not a SEAL so what do I know. Hopefully they'll make it a bit more clear.
I think the cash stash setup was some degree of orchestration at the hands of the PMC figuring the military will assume it's linked to the locals and put it down to revenge for the burning and call it a day.
The Afghan general scooping up all that cheap land, most definitely in cahoots with the PMC for it's mining potential.
