Seven episodes in. Nice show, though...
...I'm kind of surprised about how blatantly Shore ripped off himself and House M.D. main cast. TGD characters are kind of its full-round mirroring.
Shaun > House (a loner genius, whose disability fuels his social and behavioural issues)
Claire > Cameron (a very attractive young woman who's also a brilliant professional, though a very insecure one, with commitment issues in relationships)
Jared > Chase (a rich, handsome, and very attractive young man, neglected by his parents as a kid, in love with the forementioned female colleague, of course)
Glassman > Wilson (a father/older brother/life-mentoring figure for the lead, whose deep humanity helps said lead in dealing with his own feelings)
Melendez > Early seasons Foreman (a tough-looking and career-driven minority dude, kind of smug)
Andrews > Late seasons Foreman (same dude who managed to deal with his overachieving tendencies, and got to the top)
Not that's a bad thing, per se. Although I think it's a show whose interesting premise might easily turn into a soapopera-ish narrative mess.
