When a director comes out and basically says, if you don't like the lead character then you are sexist, I can't but help feel like he's covering for a bad movie. I actually was considering going to see this. Having female leads doesn't bother me, unless it's only for the sake of having a female lead. His comments have made me decide to keep my money. It stinks of the same issues that ruined the Ghostbuster reboot. Here is his quote, you be the judge.
Tim Miller told Variety that: "If you're at all enlightened, [Grace] will play like gangbusters. If you're a closet misogynist, she'll scare the f**k out of you... We did not trade certain gender traits for others; she's just very strong, and that frightens some dudes.

My reasons not to see it is that the lead good terminator looks like a man rather than a woman, and that john connor is killed off

can't believe this guy made deadpool.... but then again, that was all ryan reynolds and his ideas, and then of course, just follow the comics, and you can't go wrong.

Yeah, but the studio and Ryan sent him packing after the first movie. I'll bet his leaving says a lot towards his inability to keep the PC shit at Bay.

I've seen more than one person ask him why he uses all caps, and they implied it comes across boorish. He is well aware, so the only reason to continue doing it is a need for attention and to further antagonize. I simply won't reply to people like that anymore.
