In order to keep the series fresh, it need to shed some old bonds. (Unpopular OP time)

I think in order for The Terminator franchise to survive they need to drop tired old ass Arnold, the time travel angle, and stop recycling the plot of the first two films. And please stop screwing over John Connor, i mean why so much hate around a character that's one of the pillars of the gotdamn franchise??!! I also want a gritty military science fiction Terminator sequel, They need to explore the actual war, i think it's been a back drop long enough. ....PLEASE.

Arnold is holding the series back, his CGI Terminator looked good in Salvation and that’s the only way I want to see his T-800 Terminator in these future movies and not as an aged old cyborg!

The only way Arnie should be involved in these movies now is as a human, whom the T-800 was modelled on.

Jumping on board the "sequel that ignores/rectons previous sequels" bandwagon is what's killing this film. Eff that noise. It's such a crock of shit, especially with Cameron proclaiming endlessly that T2 was the end and no sequels were necessary. This isn't his real vision for a sequel. It's him cashing in now that he has the rights again.

If you want to jump into this series, make a GOOD sequel that continues after the shitty Salvation and make things better.

The alternate timeline where Sarah Connor doesn't die in 1997 was already done in the TV show.
