2/3rds of a good movie. :-/

Clearly this is not a well funded movie. No disrespect, they did what they could with the money that they had. Their 2 production companies haven't made much, production-wise, so as a first big(ish) project... It was a skosh more than okay. The movie was about 20-30 mins short. At 81 minutes, you're really just skipping the intro and the denoument. I'm already 3/4 thru the movie and I wonder, "where's the rest of these scenes?" Like, they had the right ideas, but just didn't develop them as much as they should have.

Again, what they did here that I can say is... C- material, but a lot of that is really budget-saving by an up-and-coming production company. I honestly have no idea how much this movie would have cost to make. 5, 6 figures? So they didn't have a big budget, and that's why this movie is a C-. Good effort, held back only by the almighty dollar.
