was that big in the sky the earth would have fried long before.
IMHO, it wasn't bigger than usual during dawns and sunsets. It's the refraction due to low angle that makes it big.
shareThe sun does look bigger when it sets, compared to when it's high in the sky; you're right.
But not THAT big. I have photographed many sunsets and sunrises on many different lenses, and on Hard Sun, it was definitely digitally enhanced to appear bigger.
