Would I Understand It Without Viewing the Show?

I only want to watch the movie since it looks interesting. Will it be impossible for me to follow or could I enjoy it anyway? I don't mind missing the small details. I have no time to watch the show now.

My wife and I both saw it and neither of us had seen any of the tv series. We both really liked it and have now started watching the tv series.

You don’t need to have seen the tv show to follow the plot and understand what is going on.

I have seen all episodes and the film and you can watch the movie without knowing what happens in the TV series. :-)

Oh good. Glad you did. It's charming. Made me tear up at the end though. Glad they didn't show it on screen. That would have been too much. :-) lol

The film was very pleasant and it was surprising how relaxed I felt after I left the theater. Now I realize how tense most violent action films make me.
I'll watch the show during the summer.

No, it follows on after six seasons of the TV series so you might want to catch up first.

Agreed. Not to say that would spoil the TV show. Why would you get one of the best TV shows last years spoiled? Watch the show, then watch the movie.
