The music in the first Creed movie was the drizzling shits when it's compared to the original Rocky series (except for most of Rocky V). I hope whomever is doing the music for this one does a better job this time around.

Its a shame that the guy who scored rocky 4 was supposed to score creed 2!
shareCreed II was full of c-rap music. The original Rocky theme only plays at one pivotal point, and it is an uplifting moment.

It's an urban movie because the lead character is a 30 year old Black guy.
If you're not into that, then so be it, but it'd be weird for Adonis to be walking around with Journey playing in the background

"People are not going to remember the Creed music". I agree. I've already forgotten it. I know there was rap and I can't remember being motivated by any of it. Although I do think that rap motivates people to fight, I don't think it's an inspirational kind of motivation. More like go fuck yourself if you're not me.
shareI'm a 35 year old "white people", and I guess I fit into that box, because I thought the music in the movie was awful, except some of the instrumental score was good, but yeah, like you said, the lead character is not my demographic. The only gripe I had with the film was the music. But it's not a "Rocky" film, it's a "Creed" film with Rocky in it.
Other than that, loved the movie! A lot!
