Boruto's Eye -SPOILER ALERT-

it is probably not a Byakugan, there are no veins around Boruto's eyes, his little sister gets veins around her eyes and its definitely not a blue Byakugan

This might be the reason Boruto got the Tenseigan naturally, because Hinata had Hamura's chakra with her which was passed to Boruto. Originally you need both Otsutsuki chakra and the byakugan for the activation of tenseigan. Naruto is a descendent from the Sage of Six paths, Hogoromo Otsutsuki, while Hinata is from The Hyūga clan, The Hyūga clan are descendants from the Ōtsutsuki clan, specifically from Hamura Ōtsutsuki's lineage

His eye doesnt look like a normal tenseigan, Boruto's eye looked different to Toneri's Eye, Toneri's eye looked like like a blue shining sun, while Boruto's eye looked like a blue full moon, maybe they had to redesign it to cut cost

Boruto's eye maybe entirely new type of Kekkei Genkai, it could be a improved Tenseigan, like Madara's Rinne-Sharingan, a Tensei-Byakugan?

We cant also forget the mark Momoshiki will give him. Momoshiki said his eyes would be his demise, the mark might be a seal to suppress his eyes, or mark could be the actual curse
