Like none of these people wouldn't have prepared as much as possible in advance before "going on the run"?

These contestants could have hidden money, cars and "go bags" anywhere and everywhere if this was a real thing (which it isn't)

Also there is a guy who is a criminal defense attorney even though he has been arrested 13 times in the past? Aren't people with a criminal history banned from taking the bar exam and becoming a lawyer??

There are likely rules of the game that prevented them from doing this.

And of course it isn't real.

Yes, I know it's not real.

How the hell would they be able to know if a contestant stashed something like cash somewhere? "It's against the rules?" Yeah, no sh*t, but how can they prove if someone cheated unless they were caught red-handed?

I'm not sure what this even means. Are you saying people who have a criminal background can still take the bar exam and become attorneys b/c that isn't true.

No. What viewers see is a recreation of frantic packing scenes. Makes for good TV, but it's not real.

The players were interviewed and prepped extensively, and they only cast people who are very open to play acting and staging of scenes.

Arrests are not convictions. Ultimately, it depends upon the rules of that bar association in that state:

Each state handles it the way it wants and some states, such as Florida, will not allow a felon to take the bar exam. Nearly every state has a rule about getting the license to practice.

Georgia requires all bar applicants to disclose any misdemeanor or felony arrest, even if it did not result in a conviction. They have standards called "good character and fitness" that are used to determine admittance to practice law.

I watched this show for about 20 minutes and couldn't take anymore and turned it off. What state (s) is this even taking place in?
