Just saw it

I wonder how much if it was actually accurate with what happened 15 years ago.

I enjoyed it for the most part. The story dragged at times but the acting was flawless.

Maybe it my theater's connection, but did anyone else notice a problem with the lighting? It was very dark throughout the film. Impossible to decipher what was happening at times.

I didn't notice problems with the lighting. I did think there were instances when there were problems with the sound. I couldn't hear a few of the lines.

Aside from the lighting being dim, some clear issues with remembering dialogue and some super minor sound mixing issues, that was an absolutely incredible achievement. That was far and away one of the most special experiences I have ever had in a theater.

Yes, lighting wasn't ideal. But I imagine with a one camera, one shot Production, you couldn't have lighting hanging around. It would have been in shot repeatedly. And sound had problems, but anyone who's run sound would be impressed by how good it was. But just understand what an undertaking this was. Kudos to Woody and the rest for trying this. Amazing concept and damn near amazing execution. For me, watching this wasn't about the script. It was slow, but again, I can't imagine a flawless film in this mold. And there were plenty of laughs. The live musicals that networks have been putting on aren't nearly as difficult. It's the SNL model that isn't easy, but it's not close to experimental and daring. I'll remember this for a long time. For those that didn't, you should have seen it live.
