It was just a bad movie. Even the editing was bad with some decisions that were flat out dumb... I mean the opening sequence where you get to watch half the squad die in 10 minutes before flashing back to days before... Can we please stop this type of shit. When they do this in a movie you insure that no one will develop any interest in the character when they know they are watching someone that died just moment before.

Wow, talk about nitpicking.

It was a fun way to open the movie and a bit of a ‘gotcha’ moment. That half of the squad dying allowed the other half to enter the country undetected so it’s not like it didn’t make sense from a story point of view.

Fair enough if you didn’t like the movie but you say the whole movie was bad but then just criticise the opening?

I simply gave the first problem, that wasn't the only reason I thought the movie was crap. Here's a few others.

*SPOILERS*

1) Bad music choices for every segway they had in the movie, it was as if they couldn't afford to get decent songs and even when they get one that fits they go with the crappiest version you could think of. When they used the song, "I Ain't got Nobody" they went with one that sounded like it should have been playing in a diner when they could have used one from say David Lee Roth which would have actually fit much better.. and not I'm not a Roth fan but in this case it would have fit better in that sequence of the movie.

2) Human character are indestructible, Margo and Idris aren't supposed to be endowed with super powers they are supposed to be humans at the core yet in the movie they were more like superman and wonder woman where they survived way too many instances that were not survivable and with Margo was practically flying around like Peter Pan.

3)The big baddie just looked fucking stupid as hell. When he shows up it was like watching Spongebod Squarepant while tripping on acid. Technicolor starfish just don't make sense.

4) lots of plot holes, the least of which is their plan to pancake the place holding the monster and simply assume the monster would die. Wouldn't simply logic tell them to see how big the monster is before doing what could essentially release it... Oh and when said monster is released why in the fuck would the US think that the best option is to walk away from it when clearly it would be a threat to the entire planet.

5) A complete lack of continuity in style. In parts of the movie it seemed they wanted to be a comedy then it would go serious... trying to pull off that off is possible but it requires fennes to do it otherwise you end up with a spastic movie which what this was.

6) violence and gore that seemed more like it was thrown in just to insure an R rating than because it made sense.

This statement doesn't make sense though. The flashback to three days before doesn't show the SS team that got massacred on the beach being put together, it shows the other team. So the characters in the flashback can get vested interest in them, because it wasn't the ones from the opening scene. So no, you aren't going back and watching people who died moments before, because it's an entirely different group of characters.

I dont see this movie being a big deal like the last one, people were stoked about the first one cause of the Joker and a cameo by Batman.

After watching the movie, the movie didn't need Will Smith. I thought Idris Elba was a better lead than Will Smith and this is coming from someone who is more of a Will Smith person than Idris Elba. Plus Will Smith wasn't playing Deadshot in the 2016 movie, in my opinion. It was more like Will Smith being Will Smith but just wearing a Deadshot outfit.

The movie was fine without needing an appearance from The Joker. Didn't miss Joker at all or feel it needed Joker in some capacity to be better. But I also don't care for Jared Leto's Joker. He seems like he is trying too hard to be Heath Ledger's Joker.

I'm not getting tired of Harley Quinn though. But that's also because I really enjoy Margot Robbie as the character. The wow factor is still there of seeing Margot Robbie in other movies and then just thinking that she can go from that role to something crazy like Harley Quinn. It's hard to believe, but I find it impressive. Kind of tells you she can act and isn't getting cast because of her looks. Not saying she is my favorite actress though or anything like that. Also, I'm not getting tired of Harley Quinn because I kind of just ignore all the love for the character and everyone cosplaying as her and stuff or the merchandise being everywhere in stores. All I do is just watch movies, play the Batman: Arkham games, maybe read some Batman comics where she pops up (like Batman: Hush), and watch Batman: The Animated Series from the 90's. I stay away from everything else.

Also, they do factor in HBO Max numbers. If it's popular and gets all kinds views and stuff on there, they will factor that into the movie being a flop or success. It's not so much about the money now when streaming services are factored in. But piracy could maybe hurt the movie. All you need is that one person with a HBO Max subscription to rip it and post it on torrent sites and stuff, which sucks since it's HD quality instead of CAM. So people pirating get a good rip much faster.

Where does your brain go when you and your sock puppets post stupid shit?

It'll flop for sure in the theaters but may make a decent amount on stream since it's same day release although it's silly to pay for free things. Joker was bad, glad he's gone.

the blame goes to that it looks stupid. a bunch of grown ups wearing pots and pans on their heads and towels as capes and a cgi weasel and shark for kids.

Hope it doesn’t flop. It was a very entertaining movie …Cena and Elba were pretty good in this, and Polka. It wasn’t just a Harley driven movie …
