Not bad, but not great.. Yet.

Now, I only saw episode one so far and can't say to much about it, yet.
Under title, it calls it self for an 'comedy/drama', haven't got the comedy part so far.
But it's kind of light easy watching, later more comments.
What do you think?

I watched the whole series and I really loved it. Everything from the acting to the humor and situations seemed really natural.

reply

Me to! I can see the humor now in this drama series.
Love Elsa's funny remarks. Brigette plays so well also.
I want more, now!

reply

I haven't seen it yet, but just today put it on my Netflix list.

reply

Do it, maybe after the 4.th episode you'll be hooked..

I've watched the whole season now, and liked it a lot. I thought it was funny from the first episode. You really didn't find any humour in the first episode? Do you now, having watched 4+ of them?

Edit: Never mind on that last question. I just read your response to the other poster.

Now I have checked out the whole series as well.
And I really like it! (gets a 7/10 in my book)
Specially, I much love Jennifer Jason Leigh in this, she's so funny.'
Like when Elsa reads 'gone fishing', and goes 'fuck you', or when the copper goes 'whaa.. a tuba hay'

I'd also give it a 7/10, and will probably watch it again in a few months. Yes, there are some very funny parts!

I liked it; it was a very enjoyable way to spend some free time. I like how more of these newer shows are starting to show more realistic, socially awkward interactions between everyday teenagers like those between Evan and Casey. Also I like how Netflix is starting to break down stereotypes for example, by making Zahid the geeky and witty ladies man. The chemistry seemed a little forced though between Leigh and Rapaport, but that might be implied in their dying feelings towards each other (at least on Leigh's part). And knowing a lot of people on different parts of the spectrum I think Gilchrist did a great job at nailing his role as someone diagnosed with autism. Definitely a show worth watching (7/10)
