I was not disappointed!

What a fucking blast that was! Even if not much happened overall it went by super fast and was never boring. Even if most fights lacked any sense of peril or danger they were always entertaining. My favourite part being the one with Electra, Blade and Gambit. The main reason is because Gambit was my favourite X-men back when I read the comic books and collected the trading cards. I was always frustrated by how little we get to see from him in X-men films so I was stoked to see him with more screen time here. I complained a lot in the recent years about how Marvel movies are often too long, well, believe it nor not, I was kind of sad when this one was over and would’ve gladly enjoyed if it was 20 minutes longer. My rating: 8.5/10

Same here. Gambit has always been my favorite as well and I've always been keen on seeing him on the big screen. No offense to Taylor Kitsch, but he did a pretty piss poor Gambit, but that fault lies with the script for X-Men Origins: Wolverine. I know it's a very long shot, but with this film out there, I still want to hope that they will now give Channing Tatum the Gambit film he's wanted to make for so long. This film also shows that Wesley Snipes IS Blade. Maybe the fans will rise up and demand that the Mahershala Ali version of Blade be scrapped in favor of bringing back Snipes.
