if not Like a Prayer
I watched the commentary and special features, which tell you the already obvious that a lot of time and thought went into curating the soundtrack, and they were nervous Madonna said no, because they always imagined it as that song. But, a number of sequences, they said there were numerous considered options. Being used during two notable sequences, this is arguably *the* song of the movie. But, if it couldn't have been this song, what other songs do you think might have fit well?
I might add/change later, but for now, I think "Heaven is a Place on Earth" by Belinda Carlisle, or "Hold On" by Wilson Phillips
