What's so funny about the "church"s defense...

I love how when someone leaves $cientology, the "church" always describe the defectors as being these lying, thieving monsters...who are lifelong products of their own group!!!

For example, Ms. Remini is suddenly deemed by $cientology to be a washed up, desperate, bitter, pathological liar....yet apparently one who spent millions of dollars and decades of her life devoted to $cientology training.

WHY do the $cientologists think these inflated criticisms of former members make their training/"faith"/product look good, AT ALL???

It's not terribly well thought out...

I'd say that describes many aspects of $cientology, such as joining it in the first place as an adult.

That makes complete sense and I agree with you. They look like hypocrites and really bad as an organization. Like someone said previously...they should issue a statement that says we wish that person the best of luck and happiness and should they ever wish to return to CoS we welcome them with open arms.

What they say and do is the complete opposite. They react like a teenager that was dumped.
