Come on guys..

I understand why some may be slightly disappointed since this may not be Burr's absolute finest, but you have to admit that it is much funnier than a vast majority of the stand up specials you see today. It's creative and Burr certainly doesn't hold back from political incorrectness and deliciously dark humor. I loved this special, and I think that lowered expectations would have made others like it almost as much as I did.

I think that he's set the bar so high with his other specials that it's inevitable that it'll seem disappointing if the quality drops a little. I usually love his rants about over population but I think he's squeezed the best out of that topic already and struggled to find a new angle in order to shoehorn it into the show.

I had some laughs still but it definitely had an overall darker feel than the other specials.

I agree with both of you. "I'm sorry you feel that way" was so extremely good, and it came at a time where I thought Bill couldn't get any funnier and other fantastic comedians (Louis CK, Jim Jefferies, Doug Stanhope, and a few others) just had come out with specials that were pretty substandard. Maybe this made my expectations too high. It's still funnier and more entertaining than most of the other stuff out there, but disappointing nonetheless.

Joe Rogan's "Triggered" surprised me big time, maybe because my expectations were very low this time? He often comes across as a self-opinionated prick on his podcast, but that special had outstanding quality.

Agree with you on Rogan. I've never liked his standup, but Im a huge podcast and UFC fan. I thought Triggered was his best work to date. Havent seen the new Burr yet.

Ya Mama.

Lol what? He was PC to the extreme pandering to the typical bs you hear from the sjw crowd. Old Bill Burr always found some way to stay on the middle ground and drag you into his world where his views made you laugh but here he's just trying to be PC, that's what I was thinking halfway through tbh.
