I mean I liked the first John Wick when I saw it and was impressed with the choreographed fight scenes then, but now 2 films later with these same choreographed fight scenes ad nauseum, it gets so repetitive and boring. The gimmick wears off.

I mean, it's different from other action movies, so I don't mind having more of the same style.
Not to say that it doesn't feel like they're trying to indoctrinate you with some political woke agenda, which is refreshing.
Well it started off being different then they decided "Hey let's do what we did in the first one and have more of it", and then in the third one "Hey let's have even more of it", so now it's become a novelty almost. And a lot of the takedowns of bad guys are done the same way as well, with the close gun shots to the head. To be that repetitive makes it less enjoyable for me, personally. It really is like watching a video game for 2 hours.

I enjoyed the first film.
The 2nd one was interesting as well although the fight scenes got exhausting.
But the 3rd one was like a bad version of GTA where you're forced into making the same missions over and over again. It got tiring.
Halle Berry's character was terrible. Or maybe I just couldn't take her seriously in this role. Or maybe I can't stand her.
Overall, there's not much depth. Fight scenes LOOK great, but the excitement wanes off and in the end what you have left is nothing beyond the surface. Very shallow and unemotional movie.
SOUNDS LIKE YOU CAN'T STAND HER FOR SOME REASON...BECAUSE SHE WAS THE HIGHLIGHT OF THE FILM ALONG WITH HER DOGS.
