Made over a Billion so another hit movie by Disney.

I haven't watched it yet as it is supposedly meh at best.

It can't be all that "meh" if it's made over a $1 billion. I haven't seen it yet, but it has to have something that effectively appeals to the masses to draw them to the theater.

TRANSFORMERS: AGE OF EXTINCTION anyone?

Transformers is a franchise with several entries in the last dozen years and an established fan base. "Aladdin" was preceded by one cartoon flick 27 years ago.

Not much of an argument if you ignore your statement. However, "it has to have something that effectively appeals to the masses to draw them to the theater" is certainly true.

I'll keep it at "meh" because I can and have a dislike of Disney (thinking of Mickey Mouse's "haha" from South Park). They're just TOO succesful, you know? And I'm done with the Marvel films (that ended on a low with the cirkle jerk that was RDJ's departure in Endgame and Spider Man Homecoming).

Nostalgia. Aladdin was one of the classic movies from the Golden Era: little mermaid, beauty and the beast, aladdin, lion king. They're just milking them.

I haven't seen it. I'm just saying it's probably not that bad if people worldwide are flocking to it to the tune of over $1 billion.

People can say what they want about the film, but it was a box office hit. That can't be taken away from it.
