Foreign box office weekend dropped only -36.5%. Wow...

From $123 million to only $78.3 million!! Talk about amazing legs considering all it had against the film going into the release. This is also with a blockbuster in Godzilla opening in the majority of it's markets as well, plus it's not relying solely on China to prop up it's gross.

That official trailer must have really changed a lot of people's perception from the lackluster teaser trailer 2. I can't remember the last time a company was able to do such a 180 but that's Disney for you.

How do you think it's going to hold against Universal/Illumination's Secret Life of Pets 2 which opens this weekend in many major markets(including the U. S.)?

I don't know tbh but I believe it'll still do well. It's already held well in the UK and Russia against SLOP2 which were really strong markets for SLOP1. It's really just the US and a bunch of smaller markets this week since the release schedule is fairly staggered. Also it's the Queen's Birthday holiday for many countries next week so I'm predicting good holds in those territories as well. I'm expecting Godzilla 2 to drop much harder due to the new releases.
