Grew to really like this show....but.......

When creators create a show with ardent followers, idiotic unresolved cliffhangers do not need to be utilized to pull them back for the next season.

On top of that, in modern times, creators of today must accept the fact that they need to tell stories that go someplace more quickly than in the past; viewers are too impatient.

Personally, I loved how this show unfolded....

It was really surreal while it lasted. It's certainly distinct in that way.

The four episodes with Paul Giamatti were probably the best of the lot?

What is it all about? Hard to say for sure. I guess it's the rare show that's not about life's heroes, but about those struggling along as best they can and for whom wins are rare. Sometimes it's nice to experience their stories as well. They do grow and develop some, but very slowly, which is probably more realistic.
