Simba leaves Timon and Pumba without even saying goodbye

I don't know how it's in the original, but in this movie it goes in this order:
1. Simba cuddles with Nala, but then argues with her whether to return
2. Simba receives monkey wisdom in the forest
3. Simba looks at his reflection in the water and speaks with his father in the sky
4. Simba roars and goes back excited to his kingdom
5. While Simba looks at his kingdom from some rock, Timon and Pumba arrive panting, at which point Simba says, and I quote, "What are you guys doing here?"

Wow what an asshole you are, Simba. These guys reared you from when you were little, and you couldn't even say goodbye to them. And then you're like, why did you follow me into my kingdom, you have your own area. Wow.
