No Academy Award Winner But Watchable I'd Say. Some Spoilers.

This is a ok flick, mediocre & a tad too long I'd say but it's decent to while away 90 minutes or so if you come across this. Some of the stuff that goes on left me dumbfounded. The so called "big brother" takes his younger brother who has possession of a futuristic weapon to participate in holdups so he can rob gangsters & the like. Hey it shows you care about his welfare, you included him & all. Yeah ok, that's going to win you brother of the year award.

Some things in this don't jibe, meaning the soldiers from the future telling Eli that they can't leave the weapon behind because it doesn't belong here in our time which is the reason why they chase him around a few states in order to retrieve it. Really? Then how come they left their fancy bikes (motorcycles) behind? How come they left those dead enemy soldiers behind for people to find? Yeah that makes a lot of sense.

Nothing to scream about, but if you come across this you might try watching it to see what you think.

Hey, just a few corrections right quick about the inter-dimensional soldiers.

Then how come they left their fancy bikes (motorcycles) behind?

They stole those bikes from the dealership, so there was no real loss there and those were present-day vehicles, so they didn't have to retrieve/dispose of them.

How come they left those dead enemy soldiers behind for people to find?

They didn't. The soldiers that got into a fight ended up killing each other. One of them was still alive when Elijah got there and reached out to him, presumably to inform him about what was happening, but the gun dropped down the hole after Elijah got spooked.

Another clean-up crew came later to dispose of the bodies but missed the gun (which I'm guessing was of the prototype variety? They didn't really explain but it didn't look like the other weapons that the deceased soldiers were carrying). The clean-up occurred between the six hour gap when Elijah first spotted the bodies on his way home after school and when he had the dream, which prompted him to return to the site to retrieve the gun at around 12:00am.

Yet another group, with Michael B. Jordan, arrived for retrieval purposes after the other group had already disposed of the bodies. I'm guessing the manifest showed that their prototype super-weapon was still missing.
