Drag queens and transvestites are two different groups

Drag queens are performers and don't dress up because "it felt right" or "felt like home" whereas transvestites do dress up for those reasons.

Once again straight people get things wrong.

I'm saddened by the writers and producers Wikipedia knowledge of a large group of people they share Toronto with.

Actually no, transvestites are people (typically men) who get sexual pleasure or enjoyment from dressing as the opposite sex aka a drag queen/king.
What you're thinking of is transgender.
