I don't care for all of the grim viking shows that are out and this light comedy works well without a laugh track The cast of characters even though Icelandic are really relateable as they hurl modern colloquialisms at each other.

It is really good, also pretty short.
So guys give it a shot.
The humour is delightful dry.
I love their portrayal of slavery, it wasn’t much featured in Vikings but here even in a comedy you see more of their hardships and daily life.
The characters are great too, cowardly and effeminate Orm steals the show as well as the villainous Jarl Varg who pretty much takes over the show when introduced late into season 1.
For anyone new to the show I recommend watching season 3 first, as it’s a prequel to season 1.

It seems they are going to start with Leif Erikson and end with the Battle of Hastings, so I expect a time jump at some point.
I'm looking forward to it.
I should have known that Netflix would somehow make a spin-off/sequel based on the History channel's success of this series just as Amazon prime did with Syfy's "The Expanse".
