Season five thoughts

Season five was interesting but I think the show suffered due to a lack of on-campus housing. There were a lot of memorable interactions among the students in the dorms during the previous seasons. It wasn't as exciting to see Dior living in his car, Nu'u living with his extended family and RJ living with his nerdy great-aunt.

Beam seemed to be competent but I wasn't impressed with his assistants. During some of the other seasons, some assistants appeared to be more competent. I don't know if I'd want my child playing football since all the coaches have jerk tendencies. This season was also not a banner year for the program so he might have been a bit more agitated throughout the season.
