It's a really good film and I'm glad to see a genuinely atmospheric film that doesn't rely on cheap jump scares the way most Hollywood films do, but it's just a possession movie. It is the scariest movie ever, only if it's your first ever horror movie.

Overall, it's very entertaining, just not nearly as frightening as everyone is making it out to be. This does not make it a bad film though. No doubt Hollywood will try and make a jump scare ridden remake in the future.

I wouldn't avoid this movie, based on what someone who didn't even finish it says. I enjoyed it.

Good movie, but not that scary.
For me scariest horror ever were "Village of the damned" and "Night of the scarecrow"
