Halley Barry had a foreign exchange student that seems to be a lesbian rewrite. The actress is in her 30s and was clearly helping with household tasks much more in line with a partner rather than a child. Considering the importance of these movies performing well in the Chinese market, I'm guessing they decided to change it.

shareThe movie doest say this, period. Some random comment online doesn't equate fact. Watch, I'll show you. "She was hired as a sex slave". Look, its on the internet now, and it still doesn't make it true. AND, if she was hired as you say, then she wouldn't be referred to as a foreign exchange student. All that matters is what was declared in the movie, post release online discussion isn't cannon.
