What do you hope to learn from book sequel?

Margaret Atwood says the sequel (https://ew.com/books/2018/11/28/margaret-atwood-handmaids-tale-sequel-the-testaments/) will be published in the fall of 2019.

THE TESTAMENTS is set 15 years after Offred’s final scene in THE HANDMAID'S TALE and will be narrated by three female characters. “Dear Readers: Everything you’ve ever asked me about Gilead and its inner workings is the inspiration for this book,” Atwood said in a statement. “Well, almost everything! The other inspiration is the world we’ve been living in.”

What questions do you hope will be answered in the follow-up book?

Not so much for the book, but the series. I would love to see an actual flushed out presentation of how Gilead was created, the downfall and slow changes to create the new society. The battles, and the war that continues on. The story is so tightly focused that we haven't seen much of the big picture.
