The series needs more...
More tension, grit. The lead talks to softly, they seem to be trying to make him dark and mysterious but he comes off as stiff and lackadaisical.
shareI think that's the point of his character. He's in the business of reading people. There's definitely some depth to the characters. Particularly between the negotiator and the new girl that I would like to see unfold in the coming episodes. I wish CBS would move it to a better timeslot instead of Saturday evenings.

You Say...I think that's the point of his character. Him being dark and mysterious or him coming off as stiff and lackadaisical. To me despite what he is supposed to be he still comes as the latter of the two. I do think the series could get better but in a Saturday time slot there's not much time for the series to grab and hold an audience before viewers don't care and tune OUT.
