I am really enjoying it too, even more so after episode 2. Steven Mackintosh and Olivia Williams positively sizzle. I would like to see a storyline where they join forces and work together, they would be invincible...

A first episode, not a pilot. A pilot is a one off show designed to get the go-ahead for a series (in the US); less usual in the UK.

I quite like it. Mr Selfridge mixed with Hotel Babylon although it looks like the guests will not be providing the story in this.
