Almost no suspense buildup
There was too much action and no suspense buildup towards it in the beginning. Then the silly underwear-shots and the silly goofs like 2-clicks and enter reactor-meldown sequence. I hope sea fever is better.

shareYeah, they went too much into "blockbuster" territory with those moments. But, I did think that the movie had a lot of atmosphere, and made you feel that you were there with those characters in their situation. That does take a unique filmmaking ability.
shareAgree COMPLETELY. Needed 15-20 mins to character build at the start. It jumped straight to action. Introduce the characters first. Before disaster. Would’ve made it 4/5 stars instead of 3/5.
shareagreed, it was better than i expected but that would have made it a decent 6/10 movie
shareI actually really didn't like it, and I wanted to. I'm a sucker for deep sea horror films, but I found this one boring and terribly shot. Most shots were close-ups of someone, or at least a shot with the camera in close to a body. Doesn't really work! The sea felt more like a bad camera filter than water to me, I didn't care at all about characters, and Kristen Stewart does not help anything she is in. I was very disappointed, sadly. Never hooked me.
