Whats with the bashing here? Its very good.

Very good. I agree it would have been *better* if it had paced up into more extreme violence towards the end. But that's only half a complaint I have.

I remember loving this movie . Maybe its time to watch it again

It is very good. Very tense in parts, and Joaquin gave a great, lean performance. I like how sparse the movie is and that it doesn't out and out explain everything with dialog or other exposition. This seems to really anger a lot of people if you look over the comments here.
