What's so great about Sandler's performance?

I never understood the big fuss about all his acclaimed performances(Punch Drunk Love, Reign Over Me, The Meyerowitz Stories) to begin with but he's really not much different in this film than in Big Daddy ,Longest Yard, and Anger Mangement. If they are trying to find the next Robin Williams or Bill Murray then he's not it.

I think it was the fact that his performance in this film was very different than his normal style. I thought he did a great job acting in this one, but that's just my opinion. Certainly not as quality actor as somebody like Williams, but I enjoyed it.
